The study evaluated the effectiveness of information materials published by the Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) to help farmers deal with problems caused by El Niño. Through interviews with 11 farmers, the study found that the materials were helpful but not always accessible. Farmers suggested making the materials available in Filipino and providing training to help farmers access online information.
