This study found that giving mice training trials for object location memory that were short and spaced by 1 hour, rather than continuous training, rescued memory impairments in a mouse model of fragile X syndrome. Spaced training allowed wild type mice to learn with less total time and restored memory and synaptic signaling deficits in the fragile X mice.
