This study aimed to differentiate glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) and single brain metastasis using dynamic susceptibility-weighted contrast-enhanced perfusion MR imaging. The study found that the peak height in non-enhancing tumor regions and percentage of signal intensity recovery were significantly different between GBM and metastasis and may help differentiate the two tumor types in patients.
