This case study describes a young woman with a large toxic thyroid adenoma who underwent radiofrequency ablation (RFA) after refusing surgery. RFA was performed using ultrasound guidance and multiple electrode insertions to ablate the entire nodule. The procedure was well-tolerated under intravenous sedation.
