This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between hypoglycemic episodes and cardiac arrhythmias in type 1 diabetics with normal heart structure. 32 type 1 diabetic patients underwent continuous glucose and ECG monitoring for 24 hours. While 21 patients experienced hypoglycemia, the study found no relationship between hypoglycemia and clinically significant arrhythmias.
