## Abstract Bei der Belichtung von C‐Dihydro‐toxiferin bei Gegenwart von Chlorophyll A oder Bengalrosa und Sauerstoff entsteht (neben Spuren C‐Curarin I) als Hauptprodukt ein neues Alkaloid, welches Lumi‐dihydro‐toxiferin I genannt wird. Es bildet ein gut kristallisiertes Pikrat und ein ebenso gut kristallisiertes Perchlorat und besitzt wahrscheinlich die Zusammensetzung C~40~H~48–50~ ON~4~^2+^. Einige Eigenschaften der neuen Verbindung werden näher beschrieben.
