What is Demineralization Process Overview about?
Demineralization removes inorganic salts from water using ion exchange resins. Cation exchange resins replace positively charged ions with hydrogen ions, while anion exchange resins replace negatively charged ions with hydroxyl ions. Together, this converts dissolved salts into water. Demineralization lowers conductivity and controls pH.
