An oil well was produced for 100 hours and then shut-in for a pressure buildup survey. During the flow period, 500 stock tank barrels of oil were produced. Based on estimated reservoir properties, including a porosity of 0.2 and fluid properties, the buildup test data in Table 1 was obtained. Equations 1 through 4 can be used to analyze the pressure buildup test results to determine the permeability, skin factor, and other reservoir properties.
