Bistro G is hosting a BBQ on August 15th 2007. The menu includes smoked pork loin and andouille and tasso sausage served with gumbo made of pork loin, vegetables, chicken stock, sausage and flour. BBQ oysters topped with a green onion butter will also be served. Cornbread with jalapenos and smoked cheddar and hoppin john with black eyed peas, rice and dandelion greens are additional sides. An apple and jicama salad with avocado garlic dressing rounds out the meal.
