The police raided and shut down an underground gay sex party in a gym in Kelapa Gading, Indonesia. Over 140 people attended the party, which was held over 3 years in the facility without the knowledge of nearby residents. While some advocacy groups condemned the arrests, the author believes apprehending the partygoers was justified because homosexual acts violate Indonesian culture and religion, and could encourage the spread of LGBT behavior in the community.
