The document discusses a study on the relationship between sun exposure and rhinitis symptoms in the elderly in Grogol, West Jakarta from June to November 2015. 254 elderly subjects were divided into a sun exposed group (50%) and unexposed group (50%). The study found that the sun exposed group had fewer rhinitis symptoms (36.2%) compared to the unexposed group (55.9%). So exposure to sunlight and the vitamin D produced is effective in reducing nasal inflammation in the elderly.
