What is Tobacco Prevention in Omani Adolescents about?

This study evaluates the effectiveness of two interventions, a photoaging app (PA) and a school-based educational module (SBM), in preventing tobacco use among adolescent males in Oman. Both interventions improved perceptions of tobacco harm and reduced susceptibility to tobacco use, with PA showing a greater effect on harm perception and SBM being more effective in promoting support for smoking bans. The findings suggest that hybrid approaches could enhance adolescent tobacco prevention strategies.
