Severus was waiting in a tree to ambush a slave convoy being transported along a dusty road. He took out the guards with arrows and guns, allowing the slaves to overpower some of them. Most of the guards fled but Severus tracked them down. He freed the slaves and the tattooed man Albert, telling them where to find money for a new start.
