What is Week 01 Lec 04 about?

The document discusses the importance of studying foraging decisions in ecology, emphasizing that these decisions shape food webs and are influenced by natural selection to maximize benefits while minimizing costs. It introduces the Optimal Foraging Theory (OFT) and the Marginal Value Theorem (MVT) to predict foraging behavior and optimal time spent in food patches.
