This motor contains 6 thermo couples with 2 per phase embedded in the motor winding. The thermo couple wires are color coded with chromel and constantan wires in purple/red, white/red, blue/red, yellow/red. To prevent erroneous EMFs, the thermo couple wires should not be lugged.
