What is Galileo Galilei: Life and Legacy about?

Galileo Galilei was an Italian scientist born in 1564 who made several important discoveries in physics, including that Jupiter has moons and Venus has phases like the Moon. He developed one of the earliest telescopes and found that the Sun, not the Earth, was the center of our solar system. However, the Catholic Church condemned his theories as heresy. Galileo spent his later years under house arrest, where he continued his scientific work until his death in 1642.
