This study evaluates the prevalence of the crpP gene in carbapenemase-producing Pseudomonas aeruginosa blood isolates in Korea. Among 212 isolates, 22 were identified as carbapenemase producers, with 11 co-harboring the crpP gene, indicating a significant resistance mechanism to ciprofloxacin. This is the first report detailing the spread of the crpP gene in these isolates within the region.
