## Amiodarone/bisoprolol Bradycardia and cryptogenic organizing pneumonia: case report A 76-year-old man developed bradycardia during treatment with bisoprolol, and cryptogenic organizing pneumonia during treatment with amiodarone for ventricular ectopic beats [routes, dosages, duration of treatments to reactions onsets not stated]. The man, who had been receiving treatment with amiodarone for ventricular ectopic beats, presented to the emergency department of a hospital in Italy (in April 2020) due to dyspnoea and dry cough for the previous 2 weeks. He was a former smoker and a retired house painter. Auscultation revealed bilateral, though localized and fine crackles. Chest radiograph showed extensive interstitial alveolar opacities affecting the posterior segment of the right lower lobe and the anterior segment of the left upper lobe, morphologically compatible with COVID-19 pneumonia, and right basal pleural effusion. However, a nasopharyngeal swab showed negative result for SARS-CoV-2.
