An English teacher at a preparatory school heard strange noises while writing on the board during a lesson. When the teacher investigated, they noticed students in the back row hiding their hands under their desks. Upon asking the students to show their hands, the teacher discovered they had been chewing on a chocolate bar and causing the noises, for which the students apologized and offered to share the chocolate during their break.
