What is Understanding Moral Intuition and Judgment about?

The passage discusses how moral judgments differ from other types of opinions and how morality can be "turned on and off like a switch." When the moralization switch is flipped on, actions are deemed immoral rather than just disagreeable or imprudent. Key aspects of moralization include feelings that moral rules are universal and that those who break moral rules deserve punishment. The passage also examines how certain behaviors have become moralized or amoralized over time as social views have changed.
