What is Financial Literacy in Kolkata about?

This paper seeks to explore the state of financial literacy of Gen Z employees in Kolkata to establish the extent of their capacity to make sound financial decisions. As India has a large population of the young generation, it is equally important to understand the perception of the youth regarding financial literacy for the country’s economic advancement. The study uses primary data collected from respondents using a structured questionnaire among adults aged 18-29 years.
