Over 1,300 Nevada students, parents, and citizens rallied in Carson City on March 21st to protest budget cuts to higher education. Students from universities and colleges across Nevada participated, making signs in preparation and chanting outside the state capitol building. Though many students signed up to speak at a finance committee meeting, most did not get the opportunity due to time constraints.
