This document describes how to use Excel spreadsheets for connection design in Tekla Structures. Excel spreadsheets can be linked to steel components to perform connection calculations when a component is modified. The component properties are passed to an Excel spreadsheet, calculations are run, and modified properties are passed back to update the component. Sample Excel files are included, with inputs, component geometry, calculation, and output sheets to transfer data between the program and spreadsheet
