This experiment aims to determine the concentration of an unknown protein using the Biuret protein assay method. Bovine serum albumin (BSA) standards of known concentrations were prepared and reacted with Biuret reagent. Absorbance readings were used to construct a standard curve relating absorbance to BSA concentration. The unknown protein sample was then reacted and its absorbance measured and interpolated on the standard curve. This allowed calculation of the unknown protein concentration as 2.45 mg/ml,
