ZUSAMMENFASSUNG: Das partielle spezifische Volumen von m.m'-Ditolyl in Toluol wurde durch Dichtemessungen uber den gesamten Konzentrationsbereich bei 25 O C bestimmt. Das hieraus berechnete molare Oberschunvolumen betragt -0,21 cm3/Mol bei einem Volumenbruch von 0,5. Die partiellen spezifischen Volumina von Oligomeren des m.m'-Ditolyls w r d e n in einem niedrigen Konzentrationsbereich in Toluol, Benzol und Trichlorathylen bei 25 "C bestimmt. Sie sind in erster Naherung dem Molekulargewicht umgekehrt proportional. ## SUMMARY: The partial specific volume of m.m'-ditolyl in toluene was determined by means of density measurements over the entire range of concentrations a t 25OC. The molar excess volume computed hereof turns out t o be -0.21 cm3/mole a t v2 = 0.5. The partial speciiic volumes of ditolyl oligomers were determined at low concentrations in toluene, benzene, and trichloro-ethylene at 25°C. To a first approximation they are inversely proportional to the molecular weight.
