About this document
WGS Catalysts in Fluidized Bed Reactor by Vivek Shrivastaw is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the reaction characteristics of two water gas shift (WGS) catalysts in a bubbling fluidized bed reactor for the Sorption Enhanced Water Gas Shift (SEWGS) process. The commercial MDC-7 catalyst outperformed the new PC catalyst in terms of CO conversion, reaction temperature, steam/CO ratio, and long-term durability. The findings suggest that the MDC-7 catalyst is more effective for hydrogen production in the SEWGS process.
