Construction works were ongoing at the Hougang Town site. 12 grout piles were completed that day, with another 12 to be finished the next day. Formwork and rebar installation were in progress for pile caps P40 and P41, which were scheduled to be cast the next afternoon. Soldier pile driving and steel plate installation were also taking place for excavation support and retaining system works at Surin Avenue.
