About this document
1-X FIR-MASH Delta-Sigma Modulator Design by Saleh Heidary Shalmany is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This article discusses the design and analysis of an audio continuous-time delta-sigma modulator that combines a first-order single-bit CT-MASH with a finite impulse response (FIR) feedback and a 1-bit second-order backend to achieve a high maximum stable amplitude close to full scale and a third-order noise transfer function. A prototype chip implemented in 180nm CMOS achieves a peak signal-to-noise ratio of 100.9dB in a 24kHz bandwidth while consuming 265uW of power, resulting in a Schreier figure of meri
