What is ICA Richmond: A Gateway to Art about?

The new Institute for Contemporary Art in Richmond, Virginia is located at the intersection of Broad and Belvidere Streets, linking the Virginia Commonwealth University campus with the surrounding community. Designed by Steven Holl Architects, the 41,000 square foot building forms a gateway to the university. It houses galleries, education spaces, a shop, cafe, and sculpture garden for exhibiting contemporary art and hosting related events, films, performances, lectures, and community programs.
