What is Pastoralist Life Through Photography about?

Ekiru Loito is a Turkana pastoralist from Nanam, Kenya. He spends the wet season in cattle camps with his wife and livestock but comes to town during the dry season to sell animals or get supplies. Life is difficult due to frequent cattle raids by the Toposa people that have left him with only goats. He hopes to rebuild his herd through trading goats and bridewealth from his sisters. Maintaining peace is important but seers sometimes encourage raids, going against the cattle camp leader who prefers peace.
