What is Mapping Human Rights in Community about?

This activity asks students to work cooperatively to create a map of their community, identify major institutions, and associate relevant human rights to each location by referencing articles from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Students will spend 1 hour drawing the map, analyzing it from a human rights perspective by writing UDHR article numbers next to locations, and then present their map and human rights analysis to the group.
