About this document
Impact of Milking Frequencies On The Level of Free Fatty Acids in Milk by thate.ilct is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the impact of milking frequency on free fatty acids (FFA) in milk, fat globule size, and fatty acid composition. Results show that milking cows four times daily increases FFA concentration and milk yield by 9% compared to milking twice daily, with larger fat globule sizes observed in the more frequently milked udders. The findings highlight the relationship between milking frequency and milk quality, particularly in automatic milking systems.
