What is Multispectral Object Detection PhD Project about?

This document describes a PhD opportunity on developing deep learning methods for object detection from few multispectral examples. The PhD will be co-supervised by researchers at IRISA and ATERMES, an industrial partner specializing in border surveillance systems. The goal is to adapt few-shot, semi-supervised, and continual learning approaches to detect objects in outdoor environments using RGB and infrared images with limited labeled data. The candidate will survey relevant literature, propose contributi
