The study investigates the magnetic properties and potential martensitic transformation of the equiatomic quaternary Heusler alloy CoMnNiSn, synthesized in both bulk and ribbon forms. Results show that both forms exhibit a ferromagnetic ground state with saturation magnetization values of 4.85 μB/f.u. and 4.76 μB/f.u., respectively, but no evidence of martensitic transformation was found.
