About this document
Cadmium Distribution in Rats Study by Sh1va is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The distribution and excretion of cadmium-109 was studied in rats over 60 days after a single intravenous dose. The liver, kidneys, and pancreas accumulated the most cadmium. Cadmium levels in the liver stabilized after 24 hours while levels in the kidneys continued to increase over time. Most cadmium was excreted via feces, with 25-28% of the dose excreted over 60 days, mostly within the first three days. Less than 0.15% was excreted in urine.
