The findings indicate that healthcare costs are 34.2–48.8% lower in OPC compared to IPC, particularly for Le Fort I osteotomy and surgically assisted rapid maxillary expansion. The results suggest that performing these surgeries in an outpatient setting can lead to significant cost savings while maintaining quality care.
