This study examined the relationships between social networking site (SNS) addiction, fear of missing out (FoMO), envy, and need to belong in Chinese adolescents. The researchers tested a moderated mediation model where envy mediated the relationship between SNS addiction and FoMO, and this mediation was moderated by need to belong.
