What is Satellite Orbit Determination Methods about?

The paper discusses methods for precise orbit determination of geostationary satellites using only distance measurements, highlighting dual ranging techniques and a developed Matlab program that accounts for various orbital perturbations. It details the limitations of ranging measurements and proposes spread spectrum techniques for improved accuracy. The study also presents an algorithm based on statistical least squares for orbit determination and outlines the necessary coordinate systems for accurate calc
