This document specifies the control system for a gas box oven. It includes a SIEMENS S7-1200F PLC with safety system class PLe. The PLC directly controls valves Y5 through Y8 using a 24V DC supply with up to 2A per valve. Valves Y1 through Y4 can either be directly controlled by the PLC using 24V DC, or controlled through the PLC and safety relays using a 230V AC supply protected by a 1A circuit breaker.
