What is Ebookball - Com/?p 1540 about?

The document discusses the fusion of infrared (IR) and visible images for face recognition, highlighting the limitations of IR imagery, particularly its sensitivity to facial occlusion caused by eyeglasses. The authors propose a pixel-based fusion method in the wavelet domain using genetic algorithms to improve recognition performance by combining the strengths of both modalities. Experimental results indicate that this fusion approach significantly enhances recognition accuracy compared to using either mod
