This document discusses using statistical remote sensing techniques to predict water quality parameters in Qaroun Lake, Egypt from ASTER satellite data. 18 water samples were collected, with 15 used to develop mathematical models relating ASTER data to parameters like temperature, turbidity, pH, salinity, etc. and 3 used to test the models.
