S Betamethasone-dipropionate/prednisolone/tozinameran ## Lack of efficacy and pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta: case report A 21-year-old woman exhibited lack of efficacy during treatment with prednisolone and betamethasone dipropionate for pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta (PLEVA). Additionally, she developed PLEVA relapse following an administration of tozinameran [not all routes and dosages stated]. The woman, who had been receiving birth control pills, presented to emergency with a 4-weeks of a widespread eruption. In early July, she had developed SARS-CoV-2 infection, and reported sore throat 1-2 weeks after COVID-19 infection. At the end of July, 2-3 weeks after COVID-19 infection, she developed a rash on the abdomen, which spread widely from scalp to the lower limbs. In August, she presented with an itchy and painful eruption of monomorphous dark red papules. A skin biopsy of lesion, her clinical presentation and histological findings confirmed a diagnosis of PLEVA.
