This document describes the first observation of bisexual flowers in Rhizanthes lowii, a species of Rafflesiaceae from Borneo. Bisexual flowers differ from unisexual ones in having both stigmas and anthers on the column, about half the size of those found in unisexual flowers. Sexually dimorphic characters of bisexual flowers follow the female model. Mature fruits are large blackish berries containing minuscule pitted seeds.
