What is Sensory Experience in Architecture about?

The book argues that modern architecture prioritizes visual experience over other senses, creating a detachment from the user. It discusses how each sense - hearing, smell, touch, and taste - contributes to how we experience space. The author advocates for a more holistic approach that acknowledges all the senses and cites examples from nature that engage multiple senses. He concludes it is important to consider how designs can incorporate and appeal to all human senses during the architectural process.
