Emblica officinalis Gaertn is a medicinal plant commonly called as Amla or Indian Gooseberry belongs to Euphorbiaceae family. Its leaves and fruits are traditionally used for fever, hemorrhage, diarrhea, dysentery and inflammatory treatments.
