Can I read Magnetic properties and EXAFS study of methylammonium hexaiodorhenate (IV) salts on EtoBox?
Magnetic properties and EXAFS study of methylammonium hexaiodorhenate (IV) salts by A. Tomkiewicz; F. Villain; J. Mrozinski is a Chemistry article available to read on EtoBox.
What is Magnetic properties and EXAFS study of methylammonium hexaiodorhenate (IV) salts about?
The low-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements have revealed that the [CH 3 NH 3 ] 2 ReI 6 , [(CH 3 ) 2 NH 2 ] 2 ReI 6 , [(CH 3 ) 3 NH] 2 ReI 6 are antiferromagnets, with Ne ́el temperatures T N at 5.5, 20.0 and 21.5 K, respectively. The sample [(CH 3 ) 4 N] 2 ReI 6 shows paramagnetic behaviour in the temperature range of 1.7-300 K. The IR spectra have shown a correlation between the change in band positions of the d (I-Re-I) and n (Re-I) vibrations, bulky effect of the cations and the influence of superexchange interaction on the magnetic susceptibility of the complexes.
