What is Daemon: Night of the Daemon about?

Black Ops specialist Jeff Lehane burned out fast and retired young. He still has nightmares about a bloody mission into Iraq, right on the eve of the war. He reluctantly agrees to assist his ex-wife, who is guarding a Latino rap star. She is killed during the concert, and Jeff soon discovers that someone--or something--has broken into the morgue to eat from her corpse. Outraged, Lehane assembles his former team to hunt down the ghoul that is stalking Las Vegas."Harry Shannon's DAEMON is a wild, genre-bending romp through Iraq, Las Vegas and the desert beyond Sin City as a squad of private bodyguards moves in hot pursuit of a killer who can leap from body to body by the exchange of fluids. Lots of Special Ops stuff, some forensics, many creepy moments, loads of crass humor as well as a large splash of blood and guts. The Award winning Daemon book trailer by Dead and Gone director Yossi Sasson is still posted on YouTube."-Horror World"Master craftsmanship."-Cemetery Dance“Harry Shannon loves a good monster. You can tell by the pleasure he takes in bending the familiar tropes to his own ends, reshaping them into new and entertaining adventures with a cinematic flair."-Chairoscuro"A wr
