What is Recruitment Bias in Hispanic Women about?
A sample of Hispanic women in a rural Midwestern community was recruited through local community agencies, stores, churches and events to complete questionnaires and physical assessments at a community center. The data collector and nurse assisting with measurements were from a local health clinic familiar to the participants. A Spanish translator was available during assessments to help clarify procedures and answer questions, despite most participants being English speakers.
