This study examines the effects of combining continuous 2 MHz transcranial Doppler ultrasound with intravenous Tenecteplase thrombolysis for treating acute ischemic strokes of the middle cerebral artery. A total of 19 patients were included, with 13 receiving ultrasound and 6 receiving a sham procedure. The combination therapy was found to significantly increase cerebral blood flow parameters compared to thrombolysis alone, without increasing safety risks.
