1) Character creation uses 2d6+6 for attributes and maximum hit points at 1st level plus Constitution modifier. 2) Dwarves gain poison resistance and halflings can gain an extra luck token. Gnomes can become invisible twice per day. 3) Spellcasters can choose to retain spells on failed casts equal to their casting ability modifier per day. Crit successes allow doubling an aspect of the spell.
